The first European Blockchain Summit organized by the Blockchain Alliance Europe, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and ConsenSys took place on April 11, 2018, at the Brdo Congress Centre in Slovenia.

International speakers and attendees discussed the European blockchain initiatives, the blockchain & ICO regulation and the funding opportunities for European blockchain companies. The Summit was organized by the Blockchain Alliance Europe, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and ConsenSys in cooperation with government institutions and partners.

  • Split, Croatia

    International conference for blockchain business & development

    At the end of April the president of the Blockchain Alliance Europe Tanja Bivic attended BlockSplit. It’s a conference organized by Split blockchain community with the purpose to grow the global blockchain ecosystem, starting in the region. The conference offered interesting development workshops, development- and business-oriented presentations that will help to accelerate the growth of blockchain usage and its acceptance in businesses and society.

  • Zug, Switzerland

    We attended Blockchain Summit Crypto Valley

    Upon the invitation from Ralf Glabischnig, the Co-founder of the Crypto Valley Association, the president of the Blockchain Alliance Europe Tanja Bivic, together with Zenel Batagelj of Cofound.it and Matej Gregorčič and Vasja Veber from Viberate, attended the Blockchain Summit Crypto Valley at Zug, Switzerland. The event explored the similarities and differences between the entrepreneurial and startup approach to creating new blockchain-based services. The day before the event, they attended the VIP dinner, where Ryan Jesperson, president of the Tezos Foundation, was one of the speakers.

    IV. Urbani forum

    The president of the Blockchain Alliance Europe attended the IV. Urbani forum (4th Urban Forum) 2018, where she delivered a speech titled Is Slovenia a Blockchain Country? presenting the blockchain technology potentials for Slovenian towns.
