The first European Blockchain Summit organized by the Blockchain Alliance Europe, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and ConsenSys took place on April 11, 2018, at the Brdo Congress Centre in Slovenia.

International speakers and attendees discussed the European blockchain initiatives, the blockchain & ICO regulation and the funding opportunities for European blockchain companies. The Summit was organized by the Blockchain Alliance Europe, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and ConsenSys in cooperation with government institutions and partners.

  • Maribor, Slovenia

    Adriatic Parliament

    Adriatic Council

    Innovative companies, dealing with blockchain and new technologies, need legal security and supportive legislation. This was a key takeaway from Adriatic Council held in Maribor, where the president of BAE Tanja Bivic held a panel on digitalization with representatives of Uber CEE (Mark Boris Andrijančić), Netis blockchain technologies (Tomislav Mučič), VHealth Lab (Hajdi Ćenan) and LANACO Company (Miloš Trkulja).

    Delta Summit

    Malta is about to become one of the world`s first jurisdictions that will regulate in favour of the blockchain industry. Delta Summit 2018 was only one among their steps to spark the interest of innovative companies and bringing the crypto-community together. The event attracted almost 4,000 attendees and featured more than 170 speakers in one place, thus generating a global crypto discussion. The representatives of BAE explored Malta`s legislative, strengthened business connections and examined good practices to help the Slovenian blockchain industry expand further.

    Heroes meet in Maratea

    The city of Maratea in Italy hosted Heroes 2018, a two-day innovations festival, gathering inspiring representatives of blockchain industry in the Euro-Mediterranean basin. BAE contingent, made of Solidum Capital (Gregor Zupanc), and Netis blockchain technologies (Tomaz Furlan, Andrej Plankar, Lucija Lenasi), together with BAE president Tanja Bivic had a great chance for networking. Most importantly, Tanja Bivic and Gregor Zupanc put a spotlight on current industry challenges on a lively panel discussion, sharing their views with great John Biggs from TechCrunch.
